27. How did your parents meet?

At a local bar. My Mom had gotten in a fight with someone that ended in them pouring a beer over her head. My Dad gave her his hanky to dry herself off. That was their relationship in a nutshell.

25. Something you tried and failed, something you tried that was a success

Failed;

• Selling real estate. I like to walk through houses, I don't like to sell them.

• College in general, math in particular.

• Being married.

• Keeping my Mom's plants alive.

Succeeded;

• Freelance graphic design. Seems like I was a totally different person then. I barely remember it, it was so long ago.

• Baking. I have posted most of the successes. Snicker's cheesecake, spice cake with cream cheese frosting, lemon curd cookies.

• Changing careers a dozen times. Hopefully have at least one more in me.

My dad was on his nightly run and my mom was about to leave her house and she saw him running and instantly fell for him.
