Judging
Don’t judge someone of on looks or what people say. The person that everyone say is bad can mess around and be your hero.
Education
Education is very important because that's the only way to make real money these days, So in order to get into the colleges you really want to you have to study hard while you are in high school. So in order to get good grades you have to study, and do the assignments that teachers give you to better yourself and get good test scores. You have to also do your classwork, and participate in class in order for your teacher to recognize that you want to get good grades and give you your points. Also, when you go to college you are going to have more rigorous classes, So you have to be more serious about your education. And, when you are in college you have to be more serious about your education because you have thousands of dollars for each class. And i feel that if you have to pay for something you should always give it your all especially if it comes down to school.
Education in Schools
The education in schools are different because of the students and the parents. If you pay attention schools that look nice and have the best education are the schools that have parents involved. The more the student body is involved with what is going on with their school the more they are in control of what happens to the school. Parents have just as much power as their child because they can vote, donate, and control. Even if the people going to the school don’t have enough money to donate money, they could raise it. There are many ways to raise the money such as: have a carnival, do a fundraising site, car washes, and bakery sales. These are just some of the many things that the students and parents could do to make the education and schools better. If you want a better school then take the action to make it better.
The Importance of Education
In this era education is very important, and it is a vital factor that can determine how successful an individual will be in the future. For those individuals who want to be something big in life, they require a lot of schooling. Without education it would be very hard for people to be informed and to pursue their future career. Some students really value education and others don’t. This is unfortunate, because those who don’t value education are less likely to become successful in the future. Growing up, I was always taught the importance of education, because my parents were not fortunate enough to have the opportunities that I have now. That is why I take my education very seriously, and have very high expectations for myself. I am glad that I was taught to value education because it has brought me very far in life. I believe that in order for a student to do well in school or at least try their best, they must first learn to value education.
Worth Fighting For
My personal thoughts on the advancement of knowledge for the benefit of the students at schools like mine are that, we are not compatible with other schools in more fortunate or thriving neighborhoods. I feel as though they can afford to give their students more in depth understanding on subjects because they have more up to date learning tools. However, I still don’t feel as though that is an excuse for why I am not receiving the same level of education as a fellow student in my grade level or any other, just because of our difference in social class. I almost feel as though some educators have faced quite a bit of failure with students from less fortunate schools such as my own. Therefore, they’ve given up hope on all of their students to come and stopped fighting to better the way that we learn and the methods by which they teach us. I feel as though the only way to make us all receive a fair and equal educational opportunity is for educators and students to fight for the change and show positive initiative for something truly important.
I also feel as though too much focus is put on standardized tests. I would really like some explanation as to why students who got Cs, Ds, and Fs during the entire school year, sat down and took a 2-4 hour test and got a super high score. Clearly, this individual is not smart or worried about investing in themselves to have a good reputation because they did close to nothing in any of their courses. Therefore, I feel as though the decision for choosing who attends a prestigious college or receives full rides scholarships should be based off of who's been investing in building reputability from the beginning. #TRUTHOFTHEMATTER
We’re On Tumblr!
We finally made it to tumblr and we’re pretty excited about everything that means. We figure if Obama and the Whitehouse can have a page then so can we. We’ll be posting about all of the usual things, college tours and activities, academic lessons, and even some financial aid information.
