In this verse your muse is no longer in Kola, California. Instead, they’re in Point Place, Wisconsin and it’s 1970 and the place to hang is the hub or steven hyde’s record shop. You’ve probably heard stories about people falling off the water tower but still you go there late at night because it has the best view in the whole town. There’s a strong chance you gave a roll of film to the photohut about two weeks ago but by the strong smell of marijuana and the way the man behind the counter sounded when you gave it to him, it’s really clear you’re not gonna be getting those photos any time soon.

Your character can be related to the main cast, but they can not be the main cast. It’s easier and makes it so that people don’t feel left out. They can also just be inspired by the main cast but no one can replace the man, the myth, the legend, Michael Kelso.
It would be killer if before you started writing starters you made a nice little post talking about how your muse(s) will be portrayed in the verse and give any information necessary, then post it in the tag so people can read up on it! But it’s not necessary.
Otherwise? Go wild fam, feel free to ask any questions!
presley ellis formed a band in his parents garage, and though he likes to think of himself as the next big thing, they’re short of a bassist and what they have is a shambles. often found in the hub playing space invaders, presley wants so desperately to be cool; smoking behind the bike sheds and trying not to cough is daily occurrence. some see right through it, some are fooled, but his facade is not ill-intentioned, he just can't quite figure out whether he wants to be mick jagger, or be all over him.
MASON “ACE” ROSS looks an awful lot like GERALD EARL GILLUM. HE is TWENTY-TWO and while they’re STRONG-WILLED, they have a tendency to get pretty CALLOUS. You’ve probably seen them around Kola listening to JAILHOUSE ROCK by ELVIS PRESLEY.

&. history
Mason Ross wasn’t handed the best cards in life. His father was an alcoholic who did odd jobs around town and struggled to put food on the table. To him, Mason was little more than an errand boy to whom he could be endlessly cruel. Mason’s mother was far worse, however. She fiend innocent indifference when it came to his father’s emotional abuse. As long as someone was around she was a picture perfect mother. Fussing over him and exhibiting her nurturing side. But when they were alone, Mason’s mom was quick to snap — on more than one occasion she even SLAPPED him. The blows may not have been hard enough to knock him to the ground, but the resulting sting of it would stay with him for hours. His situation was enough to morph a once sensitive boy into someone whose guard was always up.
Growing up Mason found himself desperately looking for an outlet for his personal struggles. He found it through MUSIC. Mason found strength in the Rockabilly personas portrayed by famous Rock n’ Roll musicians like Elvis Presley and Jumpin’ Gene Simmons. By the age of twelve he had become totally obsessed with Rockabilly culture, even going so far as to adopt an alias — Ace. Though he would never openly discuss it, Ace created an imaginary friend who helped him make the transition into this different lifestyle. His name was Jax and Ace still talks to him to this day. Having dropped out of school at the age of sixteen he isn’t qualified to do any professional work. Once sensitive and creative, he has managed to bury all of his best traits in favor of ones which might make him seem more tough.
&. personality
True to the Rockabilly form, Ace has a PROBLEM WITH AUTHORITY. He spends half his time sleeping off rough nights in the local jail cell. When he’s a free man, Ace spends his time goofing off, smoking, or doing whatever he can to make a quick buck. Though Ace is not as cruel as his parents once were, their tempers can certainly be seen in him. He has been known to lash out at potential partners and is developing an increasingly short fuse. During rare moments of lucidity, when he is substance free, Ace has developed the habit of writing. He wants to become a novelist and has created an entire series of stories centered around his imaginary friend.

&. wanted connections
ROMANTIC.
IF I LOVED YOU — Ace’s longest relationship. He was abusive to them, so they finally decided to dump his ass. He is slowly coming to terms with his terrible traits, simply because he finds he’s still in love with him (Inspired by Billy Bigelow & Julie Jordan from Carousel)
NO PLACE IN HEAVEN — Ace has got some real bad internalized homophobia (tm) that he needs to get over. This guy is a fellow no-good holligan who he has a fling with.
exes, one night stands & flings are lit, he’s a bit of a whore.
PLATONIC.
GREASED LIGHTIN’ — Fellow greaser who’s his best friend/part of the squad.
I’M NO GOOD — someone who Ace helped get out of a bad place, now they’re close.
HOME I NEVER HAD — A mentor for this poor, misunderstood boy,
enter: gwenna crawford, jackie burkhart’s cousin who truly gives the term ‘double trouble’ a new meaning. her life revolves around a strict schedule of hair maintenance, admiring reflective surfaces, and accepting compliments on her groovy attire. still, like her cousin, gwenna has a genuine heart beneath her farrah fawcett curls and paisley ascots –– all it takes is a little bit of sifting through her grating exterior to discover it. whenever she’s not leafing through a catalogue of latest trends, you can find gwenna wherever the crowd is or in your local basement.
