It had come as quite the surprise when the Ministry tracked him down then proceeded to tell him that there was a spot open for him at this safe house in Germany. From what Wren remembered of the Battle, he hadn’t done much except do what was right. He fought the Death Eaters alongside his fellow students, did what he could to protect them, and got busted up quite a bit himself in the process. Then when the sun returned, he’d whispered his goodbyes to Lavender, his elder sister. He removed something very familiar from his suitcase, a bracelet that had been made for him years ago. It was simple, a piece of string that had enchanted charms of a roaring lion and a raven in flight side by side, yet he’d worn it just about everyday. As he slipped it on, approached footsteps made Wren glance up and as a result, spot Draco Malfoy in the doorway. A small smile appeared, sadder than he would’ve liked seeing as how he was now reunited with an old friend, but a smile nonetheless. “Bloody hell, long time no see,” the 19 year old greeted.
