Requested short starter for @fcrtis
It was, for lack of any better terms, rather awkward, to see Nelliel walking the halls, again. Tesla was, at best, complicit, at worst, an accomplice, when it came to what had contributed to her absence in the first place.
He wouldn't say he feels guilty, when he sees her, and her scars, but he can't say he feels comfortable, either. It's complicated.
He isn't sure if he should turn on his heels and run the other way when he almost runs into her, a tray of sandwiches in his gloved hands. Tesla can't help but stare, intrigued and vaguely tense.
"......Lord Nelliel. You look well... how have you been adjusting to things?"
