The Precedeo suspension was developed to pursue the aerodynamics of prestige cars, which excel at high-speed cruising, achieving the necessary lowering while also providing stable handling characteristics in response to road inputs. However, stock wheels are insufficient in size and width, preventing full utilization of the traction performance gained by changing the suspension. On the other hand, simply making the wheels wider can make the car too sensitive to road inputs. Therefore, Precedeo wheels, based on the same concept, were developed and manufactured in collaboration with Tanabe to perfectly match the Precedeo suspension. In high-speed cruising, where unsprung weight has a major impact, it is important to match the weight of the suspension and wheels. When considering compatibility with the suspension, wheels developed simultaneously provide the best possible match.
The same can be said for the design, which is synchronized with the image of the ride quality produced by the Precedeo suspension. The unique seven-spoke design creates a sporty look for your feet without compromising the stately feel of a prestige car.
