Glyphosate likely a human carcinogenic. It’s found in the herbicide the entire world uses on their crops by a single company. Monsanto. When studies came out showing that this stuff was dangerous they found researchers to disprove this.
Despite a San Francisco jury’s verdict last week that the cancer racking the body of a Bay Area school groundskeeper was caused by a widely used Monsanto herbicide, there will not be warning labels on the company’s Roundup or Ranger Pro weed-killing products any time soon.
That’s because a federal judge, in a courtroom just 90 miles away, has prohibited California from requiring the warnings under the state’s Proposition 65 law after concluding that a “heavy weight of evidence” showed the herbicide, glyphosate, was safe.
This happens time and time again. Scientists find that a chemical or ingredient in our food is dangerous, the company buys scientists and politicians to say otherwise. It’s bullshit

It should be noted that Monsoto recently merged with Bayer these are two basically inpenitrble companies. The deal was worth over 60 billion dollars. A little dicussed factor in this that basically Bayer an extremely large german company would be buying monsonsta a very large american company.
Its a capitalism driven merger, that will likely hike up the prices anything that involves crops including things that infuse corn. This deal should not have been able to happen. This was approved by Trump btw, which is quite baffling considering the way he has come at companies like amazon.
Antitrust is out the window, even with the trivial things the DOJ have made Bayer divest from the company, like fucking weedkiller, acquiring Monsanto chemical insight is well worth the minor loss. This is the second massive merger the DOJ has allowed. Earlier this year they allowed literally the two biggest chemical companies to combine Dow, and Dupoint. Dow uses a pesticide on food called chlorpyrifos which has been shown to negatively affect the brain development of infants.
This is why cancer and other illness are “mysteriously” increasing
It’s all the harmful stuff that’s coming into or in contact with our body that’s been deemed safe by our capitalist government.
