"Forgiveness", Lucius & Renault
Ah, nothing better than a grown man driven by grief and the young man who suffers the consequences.
These two are the closest thing to my reading of Ephraim and Orson dynamic, except that Renault regret his past actions and cares enough to ask for forgiveness, and Lucius has the emotional intelligence to absolve his grief :)
They're one of my favorites, sadly barely any fics about them as the focus, someday I'll replay the game, drown myself into the wiki and serenforest website and write something decent about them. Someday.
