Fire Emblem: Fates Request

Prompt: The Nohrian Royals reactions to their s/o initiating their first kiss (You can do Hoshido siblings too if you want)     

Xander:

○ The poor thing just freezes up. Like kissing you has been on his mind but it wasn’t at that exact moment but now it’s happening oh

○ He was probably in the middle of doing something and he actually has to stop to process which takes him so long that his s/o probably pulls away thinking they did something wrong

○ He’ll immediately pull them back into a kiss after realizing what happened, putting a fair bit of passion into it to make up for his mistake

○ Suave as hell while he’s kissing them with a hand tangled in their hair and the other sliding to their waist but he’s immediately pink when he pulls back

○ Xander apologizes for taking too long to initiate but admit that he’s glad they did when they did. Will also tease them, musing that he wasn’t sure they had that in them

Camilla:

○ Totally saw it coming she’s been teasing them for over a week now after all

○ Still it makes her jump a tad. Camilla is quick to get her composure back and return the kiss tenfold

○ Will praise her partner for being so bold, and tell them how cute or otherwise attractive they are when they take charge like that

○ “Allow me to return the favor” She’s hooked now she already wants another kiss there are many, many more smooches to come

○ As a reward for them being so brave Camilla spends the rest of the day on a date with them, as romantic or casual as they’d like. Really she’s just floored and lovey so she wants them all to herself for as long as she can steal them away

Leo:

○ They probably do it when he’s in the middle of saying something. His s/o isn’t trying to shut him up or anything and they do want to listen but oh God he’s so kissable they just can’t help it.

○ Such a shy bean. He totally freezes but recovers faster than Xander. He manages to return the kiss but he’s very shy and ends up letting his partner lead

○ Tries so hard to look cool and unaffected when they part but he is absolutely red faced and starry eyed

○ “If you wanted me that badly you could have just said so” Still a lil’ turd tho

○ He’ll try not to show it but Leo actually feels a little bad and down on himself because he wasn’t brave enough to kiss you first

Elise:

○ “MMph!” Doesn’t even stop talking when you kiss her she’s just happy though

○ Quick to adjust and throws her arms around your shoulders, almost tackling you to the ground

○ Probably gives you an eskimo kiss after you part

○ Elise is a bit pink but not super shy. She’s a bit bashful for maybe a second when she looks at you after pulling back but she’s happy a second later

○ A little more huggy and snuggly for the rest of the day she’s pretty much glowing actually

Request: Can you do a Jakob romantic headcanon thingy? He's one of my favorite characters from Fates!~ (first FE game ever, fell in deep and can't get out, send help ) Thank you!            

Notes: There is not help for you now. May as well embrace it!

○ Treats his partner like royalty, plain and simple

○ He is very gentle and delicate with his partner, as if they’re the most priceless treasure in the world. To him they honestly are

○ If his partner mentions being even the slightest bit uncomfortable or having the slightest desire for something he’s immediately off to fulfill their needs, no matter how minor

○ If his partner asks him to tone it down he will but that’s actually a struggle for Jakob. He legitimately enjoys pampering his partner so please allow him to do it sometimes

○ Jakob loves massages. Giving him a massage is an easy way to return any favor for Jakob. Whether his partner is just rubbing his shoulders through his uniform or getting a little more into it with massage oils and a full upper body massage Jakob will melt under their hands

○ He’s fairly proper and not big on major PDA but Jakob does love to link arms or hold hands in public. He likes to show off a little and he’s glad his partner is happy to be seen with him even though he’s just a servant

○ That being said if someone else is flirting with his partner all bets are off. Jakob’s arms are around them tightly, holding them tight to his body while he glares at the offending party. He’ll place kisses on his partner’s face or lips and if he’s feeling particularly angry or bold, their neck

○ This protectiveness carries over to the battlefield as well. Should an enemy even attempt to attack his partner Jakob is ready to end them as swiftly as possible. He does all he can to be positioned close to them so he can support them

○ As much as he loves his partner and loves being close to his partner Jakob does need some alone time to recharge from time to time. He’d need a partner who could understand this.

○ Definitely loves tea time with his partner. Whether snuggled up with the perfect brew or just quietly enjoying a drink in the same room he loves to unwind that way with them

Prompt: hello! could i please request relationship headcanons for keaton with a wolfskin he's known since childhood?            

○ It takes Keaton a while to realize the way his feelings are changing and he may become a bit distant at first, wondering what’s wrong with himself and trying to take time to himself to figure it out

○ Chances are he’ll confide in Kaden or someone close to him and they’ll explain that he’s falling in love

○ Even so it takes Keaton a little longer to really process it. It kind of hits him like a ton of bricks a few days later

○ His confession is super shy and awkward because he isn’t sure f you view him the same way, or if you just see him as a friend of brother figure.

○ It’s a surprise to Keaton that your relationship doesn’t change that much once you’re together. Aside from romantic activities it’s pretty well the same

○ Scenting is a super common thing Keaton will do to you. He does it like multiple times a day

○ The two of you will borrow little trinkets of one anothers all the time so you always have something that smells like the other

○ The two of you love to groom each other. Everyone notices how much better Keaton’s hair looks because you wont let him leave the house without giving it a good brushing

○ You’re one big floofy mass when you cuddle, which is very frequently. You don’t even need blankets at night because you keep each other nice and warm

○ So much tail wagging. Everyone steers clear of getting behind you when you snuggle because they’ll be toppled by the muscled mass of two wolfskin tails wagging a million miles an hour

Prompt: Beruka and Kana mother-daughter bonding headcanons? (If that's ok)

○ Beruka is actually the chillest mom in the world she’ll do whatever Kana wants so long as she’s not too busy

○ As such Kana chooses a lot of their activities

○ Often Kana likes to take walks around camp, looking at the flowers and ambling along and talking about whatever comes to mind

○ Occasioanlly Kana also likes to do crafts with Beruka too. Neither of them are amazing, but they have a lot of fun

○ Occasionally they make a joint craft for Corrin as well

○ When they spend time together Kana does most of the talking, but she doesn’t mind at all. Beruka is a good listener

○ Because of this Kana will also open up to her mother whenever she’s upset about something, even into her teenage years

○ One activity Beruka does insist on is combat training. She will teach Kana to defend herself and fight if she needs to

○ Beruka is sure to take it at Kana’s pace and is very gentle with her

○ By the time Kana is a young teen she’s proficient with a handful of weapons and is a force to be reckoned with. Beruka couldn’t be prouder, and isn’t afraid to say so

Prompt: you know what happens a lot is (insert character) comforting MU. u know what would be cool is flipping the roles with MU comforting (insert character) instead. so if it's okay, could u do MU comforting leo and kaze? i love ur blog!

Leo is stubborn and hates to be seen as vulnerable so if one wants to comfort him they need to be very tactful. He’ll insist he’s fine if asked and insisting will only irritate him so his lover is going to need to be patient. The best way to comfort Leo is usually physical and sometimes by just being around. Generally he’ll react well to touch, so playing with his hair or snuggling into him and pretending they you’re just doing it because you want to, not to comfort (even though both of you know better) helps Leo calm down. Slowly he’ll ease into your affections and start to talk about what’s going on. Generally he just wants someone to shut up and listen, and occasionally to comfort him and reassure him that he’s loved, but unless he’s explicitly asked for it he doesn’t react that well to advice. On odd occasions when he’s really upset Leo doesn’t even want to be touched and his lover does best by him here by just sitting with him, maybe letting him rant and/or think aloud, until he snuggles into them. Overall, comforting Leo is mostly listening and being there to anchor him.

Kaze is fairly laid back and doesn’t get upset too easily. He doesn’t like to show it when things bother him either, unfortunately, so if his lover wants to comfort him they’re going to have to be pretty perceptive. It might take a bit of rial and error to figure out what he actually likes and doesn’t in terms of comfort because he’s level headed and doesn’t usually react badly to anything, but some actions will promp him to continue and others will stop him. Like Leo, Kaze is happier just having someone who will listen. He doesn’t usually want advice, or a lecture, and if you get really upset over what e  tells you he’s definitely not going to enjoy that. He just wants someone to stop and listen. Kaze also likes assurance that he’s not boring or annoying you, so nodding along, asking him to continue or encouraging him to share his feelings help comfort him, as Kaze finds it comforting just to let him thoughts out. Kissing all over his face or some warm tea doesn’t hurt either though.

Prompt: Just found your blog and if you have the time and feel like doing ths one, I'd love to get any jealousy, cuddle, and/or kiss headcanons for Saizo and/or Kaze. They're my two favorites and I love your stuff. Either way, thanks for all you do, and keep up the assume stuff!

Saizo:

○ Jealousy is a subtle thing for Saizo. He’s always watching out for his lover and if another man is having a little too much of a good time appreciating his lover Saizo will definitely get jealous.

○ He might say something to the guy, or more likely give him a warning scowl that usually serves to scare them off, but he wouldn’t say anything about it to his lover

○ Jealousy never leads him to kiss or cuddle his partner in public. He’s very against PDA

○ He does, however, like to recieve kisses and cuddles in private later as reassurance later on, though he tries not to show that he enjoys it

○ Like most kisses and cuddles, his partner usually has to be the one to imitate it. Saizo seldom initiates physical affection and can be a little rough when he does - though he is well-meaning.

Kaze:

○ Really slow to jealousy honestly like he’s just happy that his partner is happy, doesn’t really matter too much who they’re talking to for the most part

○He starts to get a bit uncomfortable if others flirt with his s/o, though, and wil step in either to help them or out of jealousy if they don’t reject the person right away

○ Jealousy might lead to a little cuddling in public, just putting an arm around is partner or standing closer to them to make their relationship clear

○ If his partner didn’t reject the other person right away (presumably because they didn’t notice the flirting or know quite how) they’d do well to kiss all over Kaze’s face (preferably in private) to cheer him  up

○ Kaze isn’t a big hugger or kisser because he’s not overly physical, but whenever he does initiate such things they’re always extremely loving an earnest

Prompt: Could I request some romantic/relationship headcanons for Zola and Iago? I'm kinda obsessed with them 😅😉            

Zola:

○ Zola really likes to read to, and be read to by his partner - especially at night. He finds it very calming and relaxing

○ Boy loves backrubs. His back is always sore and he doesn’t trust most people to get close enough to touch him, so having his oartner rub or massage his back is great for him

○ Spoils his partner like mad. They want something? It’s theirs. Want something done to someone? He’s got it covered. Most of these things are done by questionable means (that he seldom likes to explain) but it’s the thought that counts.

○ If his partner is impressed by his magic skills Zola is so. proud. So proud. It’s a great ego-boost for him. He’s a bit shy about it but he’ll totally show off for them too

○ Likes to keep things private romantically but he will not tolerate anyone hitting on his partner - whether they knew better or not. Very easily jealous

Iago:

○ The beginning stages are full of bragging on his part because he wants to lure you in

○ Once you’ve been together Iago wont hesitate to pull any strings to get you where you want to be, regardless of who he steps on to do it. He might not tell you what he’s done to others if yo wouldn’t like it though

○ Treats his partner like an actual queen. He buys them the best clothes, the most expensive jewelry and will even assign them a personal servant

○ Those who cross his partner, mock them, or or look a little too closely with a little too much desire tend to vanish

○ Loves to dress up and show off his partner during special events, or just when he wants to show off

Prompt: for the younger brothers, what if. what if in some battle corrin hit their head and lost their memory. and couldnt remember their s/o? i love angst    

Notes: I presumed the ‘brothers’ were supposed to be the s/os here I hope that is correct       

Takumi would not handle this well at all. He would be panicked and incredulous, and the idea would scare him so much that he would be totally unable to get himself to believe it at first. ‘Quit joking around, c’mon’ ‘okay, haha, I got it. It’s not funny anymore.’ When he finally did accept it he’d be a bit broken up inside and wouldn’t know what to do. It would take him a few days of hiding, thinking, and perhaps pitying himself before he could start trying to do anything productive. Eventually he’d start talking with his siblings, trying to figure out a way to help her, but Takumi would avoid his s/o as much as possible because being around them just hurt too much. If s/o ever got their memory back Takumi would be so relieved but try not to show that he was prepared for (and probably expected) the worst. He would be distant for a bit though, really scared that he may have to go through that again.

Leo would be just as afraid and hurt, but would manage it better. In the beginning he would probably convince himself it was a temporary thing, though the fear that his love may never remember him would curdle his gut and keep him awake at night - though he’d try to make sue no one found out about that. He’d put all his time and energy into the matter, hoping that being around his s/o or taking them to places they’d been together might spark some memories. If not with them he’d be researching anything that might help and would often expend so much energy on the matter he’d pass out in the library on an increasingly regular basis. Leo would have a really hard time letting go and would have an increasingly hard time keeping it together the longer things went on. If his s/o never regained their memory it would eat at Leo to have lost all those shared moments, no matter how his s/o ended up feeling about him. If they did regain their memory Leo would be so releived he’d probably cry in their arms (in part because of exhaustion as well.) He’d be a little too protective for a while, wanting to ‘help’ more with tactics to keep his lover out of harm as much as possible.
