I first met Dino in ‘99 during a WMFS radio interview in Memphis. I was such a huge fan and I was so excited to meet and hang w him. I started throwing out Spanish, told him I could sing “Edgecrusher” in my sleep, and he asked me on air to sing part of song, and I did! He liked it and then invited me to sing on stage that night at the New Daisy Theater. You should have seen the look on Burton’s face when Dino told him. He was like WTF?! 😂 But we nailed the song together, and I had a bunch of surreal moments on stage w fukkin FEAR FACTORY hugging Dino and thanking him for the unbelievable Metal experience! That was my very 1st time getting up on stage with a famous band and performing.
