Had a good day at the Red Deer reptile expo with @kittje and finally got some led grow lights and a bunch of moss for Nimrod. I'll work on planting her terrarium this fall :)) had to restrain myself from buying DAIRY COW ISOPODS. SO CUTE.

AKA Eurhynchium serricuspis, Pancovia praelonga and Stokesiella praelonga. The currently accepted binomial honours Swedish bryologist Nils Conrad Kindberg (1832–1910) and "very long" in Latin, referring to its creeping, branched shoots, which can be 3cm long.
A common and very widespread moss, found in many parts of the world whereever conditions are cool and wet enough. one of the most common mosses in lowland Britain, for example.
