I remember it was mentioned that Featherworth and Ringtail cracked some pretty hard cases before Wilson's case, what were the cases they have cracked? Did they crack some cases that tie into a mystery from an already existing media? Also how did Ringtail and Featherworth meet? Did they meet on the job or did they know each other before they started working together?

I give away everything (spoilers), but I can give you a couple of stories small stories. Featherworth did an undercover investigation of a malpracticing insane asylum doctor and saved close to two hundred patients from his experiments. Ringtail was one of the best cops to hunt down petty street crime. Very few could escape her if she spotted them on her patrol. As detectives, they are some of the first to use fingerprints and mugshots in their work and have been able to prove they are effective as evidence to catch perps.

I have them involved with some stuff that’s loosely based on real-world history.

They met in training. They clicked immediately, not only because they were some of the few women in the TTPD but because they were underdogs. As a crow and a raccoon trying to apply to law enforcement, it was not easy. They stuck up for each other and keep each other’s backs every time they got to work together until they were promoted as detectives and have stuck with each other ever since. They have long since developed their friendship past work and consider one another best friends. Sisters at arms. They are buddy cops and I adore them.
