Just a thought, but since it's a running gag that wiston sets stuff on fire, wouldn't that partially make him a zany since part of being a zany is participating in gags? :0

Doing a single gag does not make one zany. If it did everyone in the quest would be zany. It’s how ridiculous he makes it and if more gags occur and if he makes it more and more silly. The fire starts tap dancing for example. He hasn’t gotten to the level. He could if he pushed for it but for now he isn’t zany.

It has been an astonishing day in the Southern Uplands! Brutally cold on the summit of Tinto but on the quiet southern slopes it was almost calm and actually quite warm in the sun. I couldn't get over how widespread the snow was either - barely a flake of snow in Fife but just over the water it was a whole other world. -9C with powdery snow you could kick through. Perfect! :)
