*Inspired by some tumblr discourse that keeps popping up on my dash. They talk like the audience obsessing over male characters and disliking and/or disregarding female characters in media, up to and including neglecting them in fanfiction, was a Real Problem. But they don't have cishet men in mind when they say this, it's SPECIFICALLY about women neglecting female representation, especially in fan spaces, by being too much into making middle aged white men kiss.
