28 days of Outlander - Day 1

How did you discover Outlander?

I discovered Outlander last year, and have happily fallen down the rabbit hole! Tumblr lurking and all.

I was scrolling through Facebook one day, it was around Valentines Day, and came across one of those dumb quizzes. This one was something like Who is Your Literary Soulmate, blah blah blah. I was thinking, Oh cool! I hope I get Darcy from Pride and Prejudice! But then I got this James Fraser from Outlander, and I had no clue who he was. However reading the little blurb that explained why JAMMF was my best match, had my full attention and interest. 
From there I researched who this JAMMF was from Outlander, and got even more interested! I ended up borrowing the books on tape from my library as well as their ebook. I shamelessly hid at work in order to read, because I had to know what happened next. Hook line and sinker!

I have since downloaded the books on tape from the library all the way up through ABOSAA, but only listened as far as DIA thus far. I binged the first season, went slowly through the second, and loved the third! I was very happy to find a friend who loves the series too! She invited me to watch Season 3 with her, as I don’t have Starz, even when she wasn’t home! We love discussing the books and episodes.

I love the Outlander series, and can’t wait for the Season 4 TV show! I’ll probably listen through the whole series up through DOA sometime before the premiere. I’ve already re-read/listened to Outlander at least 3 times. So far it’s my favorite, with DIA being my least.
