Finally got myself a proper clutch holder for removal of the primary clutch from the drive shaft. Any of my friends who need a P-85 removed, hit me up, I’m your plug, fam. @polarissnow wants $175 for their OEM tool but I found this @otctools aftermarket option for $96 shipped. Some people will tell you this tool is not necessary and all you need is a steel tube to jam into the clutch. But the “steel tube” method is known to crack the spider tower. Using the proper clutch holder is the only way to get the job done right. This summer heat has me stoked to attack this ditch again. It was my first ever attempt at this ditch in Jackson Meadows. Snow was kinda shallow, my line choice was a little off, and the stock suspension caused my rear end to slip out on the last left hand side hill. But after a spring spent tuning my @fox float 3 Evol’s I eliminated any rear end wash out.
