And with one line, my heart breaks all over again for Jaime Lannister.

He was doing what he thought was the RIGHT thing, he was SAVING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE when he slew Aerys ... and yet ... he failed.  He failed so hard.  Oh, he killed Aerys all right, and that was a heroic deed and one he SHOULD be praised for instead of being shunned for it.

But Elia and the babies ... and if you don't think THAT SHIT doesn't haunt him to this day, you haven't been paying attention.

Jaime is a character without remorse?  TRY AGAIN.

I'm pretty sure this is the moment that BROKE Jaime, the moment he went from an Arthur Dayne wannabe to ... what he became.
