#thinking about Shane watching Ilya play with the boys when there little (he’s not pregnant with Mila yet) and all he has in his head is ilya’s father telling him he’ll never be good at anything and ilya telling this to Shane and then Shane gets teary eyed just watching Shane getting jumped on by niko and he’s holding baby max up like simba and niko is yelling papa papa me next me next and Shane’s got so much love in his heart for Ilya and how good of a father he is and fuck as he looks away niko sees daddy crying and runs up and yells papa because oh no daddy is upset! And he cradles niko and is like no I’m happy these are good happy tears and ilya slowly walks over with babbling little max and whipped Shanes tears away and kisses his cheek and max has little grabby hands out for Shane and he doesn’t think it’ll ever get better than this (little does he know it does)

also picture this....this is not long after shanes recovered from his PPD after max....hes just now starting to feel like himself again...didnt think hed even feel like this again....and so hes even More emotional than usual. watching ilya....who had such a terrible father....be the best father in the world and loving their sons so wholeheartedly....
niko telling papa daddy's sad bc he knows ilya will always take care of him....yeah....yeah whatever....then baby max grabby at shane and loving on him...after shane thought he'd never bond with this kid....cool...yeah..
