Day 17 in the hospital. We hit some major snags the past week that we’re starting to pull out of: infection, NG Tubes, Telemetry, MS flares, stomach bleeds.... lots of gross stuff. I was worried my family was going to have to do my last posts - dramatic? yes. To scared or sick to tell? also yes. - so I waited till I could sit up and type And today I can Hopefully over the worst of this massive speed bump and coming out the other side. I miss Max so much that these little guys keep showing up so I’ll have something to cuddle. Hope everyone is well, loved, joyful and at peace - I’m working my way to there now too 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 #mswarrior #multiplesclerosis #crohnsdisease #crohnswarrior #ostomy #surgery #feelingbroken #feelingbetter (at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center)
When I found out that you started liking someone else, tears suddenly ran down on my face.
I couldn't help it.

All I ask is a genuine friendship.
Is that too much to ask?
The First Time I Say It Out Loud
I hate him.
God, it feels so good to say that without swallowing it back.
He makes jokes about me leaving, like he wants me to, but won’t admit it because saying it would mean owning it.
And I’m tired of it all!
Of pretending he’s a good dad. Of holding this house together alone. Of biting my tongue to keep the peace. Of having to explain basic kindness to a grown man.
I don’t even want him to touch me anymore. That’s not a marriage. That’s a sentence I didn’t agree to serve. I know I’m not the only one who feels like this.I know there are women lying in bed at night wondering how the hell they ended up here.
This space is mine, actually ours now.Where we don’t have to smile and pretend.Because nothing about this is fine.
