Sometimes you just need a time for you. A time for little things that make the difference in your day . When I lived in Venezuela going to the beauty shop was something super common for me. Twice a month, sometimes even 3 times, depending on the occasion. I never paid attention to this, never was grateful, because it was normal for me to do it in the regular basis . But then I moved, first Argentina, now USA. And something not considered a privilege, became a huge deal for me. You start putting other needs above your routine. You need to buy this for the school, coffee for the roastery, pay here, pay there, pay pay pay! And you think going to the beauty shop is not something you can afford “now”. And even you think it’s not “fair” to spend money in something so trivial, because you have other really important things to face in the meantime, especially on pandemic time . But I have to tell you, it’s not a complain, I do whatever I need to do in order to succeed and I do it super happy. I will do it again and again, time after time . The difference now is that I do realize how important and meaningful these little “treats” do for yourself, for your mental health, and I’m grateful and thankful for being able to do it. I was not before. After almost 2 years of living here in the States I sat today in a nails spa salon to do my pedi&mani and I felt like a queen👸🏻, I was smiling the whole time and feeling it. And again, I was 100% aware of being there and feeling grateful . Little things, let’s be grateful for those ones! 🙏🏼💅🏼 #littlethingsinlife #feelinglikeaprincess https://www.instagram.com/p/CKWsYOtBX9V/?igshid=1u17hb8no8ypm
