playing da2 i am reminded of how fidgety fenris can be around that era. dude practically exists standing on the balls of his feet at all times, ready to spring into action at any given moment. marianne compared astoria to a feral cat in our dms earlier, and fenris is very much the same, but less cat, more dog. teeth bared, jumpy, growling. relaxes somewhat with proximity and exposure but guard never fully lowered.

i do think he grows out of this some, for the lack of a better phrase. by the time of the comics he's on alert but he isn't fearful, he isn't paranoid. he's less focused on survival and more on living, and i think that makes a huge difference in his demeanor.

ok but tbh. not to be a silly little guy but um. it was kind of nice of them to give us an entire byler season again after having given us nothing at all in s3 except for the rain fight n the movie date. like yeah ok .... i guess i can kind of forgive u guys for tht a little bit... i guess. 🙄
