Omg please share metal su thoughts no matter how angsty!

OKAY so first of all, metal verse has beem adopted and multiple lovely people are causing angst to little metal driver darlings!

But basically, its a little more metal focused now skks. Kevin taking a lot of mods as its a way for Haas to get money, and before, McLaren experimented on him a lot too. He has a lot of metal plating and painful alterations and he struggles a lot, but he takes more and more because thats what the older drivers do, they protect the youngers. he has metal plating, metal parts, all kinds of painful procedures done and he does it selflessly at first.

But Kevin is struggling more and more, because he is together with Nico and they have a little daughter together now, started a family while they were both out of F1. But Kevin still came back, even when it means more mods, because he has no choice. Nico's modifications are degrading, and he is struggling more and more. He has some sort of mod that needs a battery, but the battery doesnt ffunction well anymore, and more than once Kevin got home to nico sitting quietly and staring straight ahead because the battery died and it is so hard for him to move, let alone think.

FIA promised that they would fix the battery if Kevin came back, so he is racing just to give his husband a future again. But having a daughter, and struggling with Nico's mods degrading, he doesnt want to take many mods himself now anymore. He has a daughter to take care off, a daughter who should have 2 daddies! Just pls poor Kevin juggling racing with keeping his family together and its just a LOT!

And... not taking mods himself means that they go to Mick more often than not...

it's been about 10 years since it happened and i am just only now able to wear clothing that doesn't hide my entire body. i am not as ashamed to show my skin. self confidence was always a difficulty, but i never wanted anyone be interested in me or see me in the way that you did. 10 years. 10 scorching summers spent inside my room, or sweating profusely outside because i refused to wear shorts or take off my sweater. i hated myself. i never wanted anyone to ever be attracted to me or see me as an object they could turn sexual in their mind. and i hated that was the first thing to come to mind while wearing clothes. never, ever show more skin than necessary again. but im ok now. old habits die hard, but i am enjoying summers on my bike wearing shorts. going to hot and sunny places. not caring if people sexualize me or not because they can't do anything to me. im smarter now. i won't be manipulated or coerced into those kinds of situations. ive grown up. and it feels good.
