So I feel like this describes Noah in the days right after his death. He's confused as to why he's so different and he can't understand the full extent of what's happened to him yet. Life is going on without him and he’s fading away.

I feel like this is post death Gansey still in shock of what he just went through and hating the irony of how everyone is telling he's going to be something great when time cut all that's short when he stepped o negative hornet’s nest. This is Gansey in the process of breaking away fro, his family to go look for Glendower because time really isn't on his side and everything's rushed and rushed and rushed because he has to find his kinda.

This is Adam wanting to prove himself and make something of himself to show he's worth more than what he came from. His head keeps telling m he has to make it but he is jus so tired. He's tired of the people telling him he can't, he's tired of the beatings, he's tired of working three jobs with little reward. All he wants to do is let go.

So the beginning part (sirens are screaming/and I can't hear a smile sound) is Ronan after Niall Lynch’s death and he's shocked and something inside him breaks and he will never get back those childhood years. Then things progress and the second part is Ronan learning new things about himself and not only realizing he likes Adam but that he doesn't haven't o hate himself and everything around him with such a ferocity because not all change is bad (niall’s death).

And I can see it in a different sort of perspective now with Henry seeing this group of beautiful misfits and wanting to be a part of it. He sees what they're doing and he's in love with it, this greater cause, and he wants to let go of the fake life he had and join the,, which is inevitably what happens.

This is Blue searching for the “something more” she desires so deeply that it takes over her life and everything in it. This is Gansey wanting to find out the reading he was brought back in this earth. This is Adam trying to find the will to keep going and put up with the bullshit so he can succeed. This is Ronan, so distraught after his father’s death that he was never the same and yet he made something beautiful out of his misery, trying to find answers where there's were none. This is Henry realizing that compared to these people, his life was make of paper and clay and now it was so much more real. This is Noah, teetering along the line of death and life.
