Random thing for people to consider is that since Laika is the saint of one way trips should Felicette be known as the saint of safe landings since she did make it back to the ground safely

I'm being emotional about space. Have a little doodle.
The Artemis mission went really well and part of me likes to think that, some of the reason it did, was because they had quite a group of chaperones ensuring their safety all the way there and back
Sometimes a family consists of a white guy, some guy from fucking mars covered in blood, their fuzzy children, and weird space rock <3
“how long has it been?”
even anxious pups need the moon
orbiter- noah kahan
Something else good to come of Iron Lung is the renewed care for Laika. She deserves it. I just learned about her and the cat. The patron saint of one way trips, and of returning transformed. Felicette and Laika
(The cat was sent up with brain implants, lived, and later was killed to study its brain. Very sad but I do understand why. Though I wouldn't condone that with our now technology)
BloodyMary17 finding the real space heroes, Felicette and Laika
HOLY CRAP THAT TOOK A WHILE
I’m done people
It also might work better the other way around but idc
Also Felicette technically made it back but then her brain was dissected for science so uh
EDIT: dude this is the most likes I've ever gotten, thanks y'all
