Hey there! Oh that’s something that originated on Twitter from a misrepresentation of an answer that MXTX gave during an interview. Here’s a quick translation I did of the relevant part in its context! There’s nothing more, nothing less to it ^^

Host: Ok. Nie Huaisang the 'headshaker' accomplished so much behind the scenes, was it all just to get revenge for his brother? Is he a villain or not?

MXTX: Strictly speaking, you have to admit that he didn't commit anything unforgivable towards the protagonists. So I think in this regard that he isn't a villain. As for whether he did all that just to avenge his brother, perhaps everything he did served a single purpose at first but that wasn't the case afterwards.

Host: So in the end, he pretended that he wasn't uncovered. Was that your intent?

MXTX: Right, that's the gist of it.

Host: Then why did he pretend not to be uncovered?

MXTX: Mmh… If you're asking why WWX didn't uncover his disguise, well, that's because there wasn't enough proof, there was nothing that could be used against him. I didn't expose him outright because I thought it was unnecessary. Some things, some disguises need not be laid out in the open. If he was exposed, there would be no way to punish him, his motive is quite legitimate you see.
