Remus walked down to the river. He was the first one to arrive, he came a bit early because he wanted to spend some alone time.

This place has been his favourite place for all of his childhood. It was the first place he could be himself, use his real name. And it was the place he met his greatest friends.

He sat down under a tree, under his tree. He remembered the moment he met Lily, it was the morning of the night he cut his hair. He was sitting on a branch, listening to music, he wasn't sure if it was The Neighbourhood or Cavetown.

Lily had come and sat next to him, smiled and said "Nice hair." She has never judged, never questioned too much. She was very confident, could keep the conversations going unlike Remus who was very bad with words that time.

After a few weeks, Regulus had joined them. He told them that he was running away from his problems and that place was his favourite place, because it was calming to listening to the sounds river made, listening to the birds... And the night Regulus has joined them was another bad night at his house.

Ever since then, they were the best trio ever. Remus closed his eyes and just listened to the water till his friends came.

"Hey Remus!" said Lily, Regulus just smiled awkwardly. The reason they met that day was Regulus feeling bad, they wanted to make him feel better, so they both understood why Regulus wasn't in a talkative mood. He had eyebags, but he was smiling so big, he was happy that he was with his friends.

Lily was wearing a cute pink sundress, her wavy, dark red hair was falling to her shoulders. Remus noticed the purple, white, gray and black colours on her nails. The asexual flag.

Regulus wearing a leather jacket that has a rainbow pin, Remus noticed that he stole Sirius' jacket, to feel good, because Sirius always makes him feel good and wearing his jacket was like having him around. Regulus almost always has wear that jacket.

Regulus put his head on Remus' shoulder. Remus drew little circles on his palm.

"Thanks for being here." said Regulus after a while. He was smiling. It was so cute to see Regulus smiling. "You are the best friends one could have."

And the fact that his punk boyfriend who couldn’t tell the difference between Jane Austen and Jane Doe goes through so much effort for a proposal is just so damn WARM!!! Tears will be shed.

16. Jealousy: This poor boi, he gets jealous way too easily. Especially during the Commonwealth, to the point where he was kind of insufferable and got on Liet’s nerves A Lot. Though over the years he’s learned to tone it down and not throw a tantrum every time Liet talks to an attractive person other then him. (And also to talk through his feelings of jealousy when he gets them instead of exploding)

18. Kissing: He’s a very good kisser and loves everything from gentle forehead kisses to passionate making out

19. Art: He’s a good artist and takes great pride in what he creates. He used to be too shy about it to show anyone other than a select few people he genuinely trusts, though over the years he’s gotten a lot more confident, even having several of his pieces in museums 

25. Crying: He cries super easily and at everything from sad books and movies to being complimented by his crush. Some people mistakenly call him weak because of this but being so open about his emotions (as opposed to repressing them) is what helped him heal so fast from past trauma

17) If you could give your fledgling author self any advice, what would it be?

JUST WRITE. Don’t sweat the details, the flowery language, the metaphors and similes. All of that will come in time. Write, even if it’s bad. Even if it’s in the heat of the moment. Don’t let the idea go, don’t just enjoy it while it’s passing through. Even if the idea gets spoiled later on, just WRITE IT DOWN. WRITE. You can fix things later!

20) Do you write in long sit-down sessions or in little spurts?

I guess it depends??? Usually I write in little spurts! Especially now that it’s the busiest time of the year for retail workers, I really don’t have the energy to write in long sit-down sessions like I used to…

23) Any obscure life experiences that you feel have helped your writing?

I don’t know how obscure this is, but I guess the, uh… the internet coming around was a big thing. I was fairly young when a computer was put in my house and we had dial up internet… but I think more than that, it was probably going on RP forums. I frequented forums on sites like Neopets and Gaia Online A LOT, and RPing with people has helped me a significant amount! Some of those RPs helped me properly plan an original work that I’ve kept in my head since FOREVER (it’s an urban fantasy with some mystery, horror, and supernatural elements. Vampires are involved.)

In fact! I RP with my girlfriend still! She’s been working on characters and a story featuring monsters and such, and I’ve been part of that process (along with our friend Carson!) We also RP Hetalia sometimes, and that has resulted in at least two stories, sooooo yeah. RP forums. Changed my life, and changed the way I look at writing. :)
