Boy Do I Love to Die and Be Killed [ Event | Gideon ]
The bags in front of Dipper's door could only mean one thing. That one singular solitary thing that he's dreaded for weeks.
Think of it this way: you know when you break your arm and you have to get a cast and you have to spend every waking moment just trying to scratch that one place in your elbow that you can't quite reach with a pencil? And you know how good it feels when you finally get that cast off? It's like this literal breath of fresh air on your ridiculously itchy and sweaty elbow. Yeah, that's exactly what it felt like that first day Dipper came home to a room devoid of powder blue suits and hairspray smell.
But then, when we went back.
There were those huge suitcases and that pompous kid, standing in the doorway and smirking as he usually does, probably totally aware of just how much Dipper didn't want to see him.
"Great. You're back. What, were you waiting for me to unpack those for you again or something?"
"Wait, wait, wait. Who's here?"
What is this Feeling? | Gideon
So, if the text he had gotten was telling the truth, he'd be getting a new roommate today. Not like, in the bedroom next to his, this was like... actually sharing a bedroom.
Okay, so maybe space was tight. Heck, it could have been a surprise from Mabel. Yeah, that's it. Maybe Mabel was surprising him for the holidays and moving in with him. Just like summer vacation, right?
Well, Dipper hardly has to wait much longer to hear a knock on his door– presumably it's the new roommate. "Well, here goes nothing," He mutters to himself as he opens the door...
"Nope."
Only to slam it back into the other boy's face. Oh god, here's just hoping that Gideon wasn't actually his new roommate.

The way Dipper sees it, now's as good of a time as any to bring up this subject. Especially the way things were set up now, which basically guaranteed that Gideon wouldn't punch Dipper in the face out of fear that he'd get the same punch himself. So while Ren and Mabel are asleep, Dipper takes a deep breath and marches over to where Gideon's curled up underneath his suit jacket.
"Gideon, we need to talk."
[ Happy Thanksgiving to some of the raddest castmates I could have asked for! So as a little gift, I made us all some cute matching sweaters icons! Hope you all have a great day and yadda yadda. ]

(I was Al for like a week last year or so, but seeing as I was still in my last year of college that ended pretty predictably.)
