Remember in school we were taught about the underground railroad and one of the ways people would show that they were underground railroad was to put a quilt on their roof? We should start this again but to show that we're open to all people who need refuge. Are you homeless? You are welcome here. Are you seeking religious asylum from your family? You are welcome here. Are you lgbtq+ and your family doesn't accept you? You are welcome here. Just as a way to say without saying you are welcome here. Here being the building, house, shed that has the quilt/ quilt pattern on it. Be kind friends.
