Nettle dry felting koala
Hello!
This is a brooch made using the dry felting technique. Available here
Finally going through my pics from Australia and found some makes I'd totally forgotten about 😅
This is actually my last make right before I left. Made for the lovely couple I was living with on their farm just outside Melbourne. This is their adorable little fluffball Logan. Such an absolute cutie and just a grumpy little old man.
Bonus Logan pics at the bottom for reference.
Oh, help me, I've rediscovered needle felting. The need to make tiny woolen critters is rapidly overshadowing all other productive parts of my brain ;o;
Look at this little guy! I made him for a work secret Santa, given before Christmas, but not remembered to post him until now! The person who9s name I had is very lovely, and made me gorgeous fingerless knitted gloves last year, so I wanted to make something nice! I’m happy to report that he was very well received!
I felted him with a pipe cleaner armature, and little pebbles in his butt, to make his tail pose-able and keep him upright. I couldn’t resist making him a little Santa hat and a flower crown/necklace as well, so he can be dressed appropriately for different seasons. It’s been a while since I did some needle felting, and it was great to get back into it!
