So she had no choice but to ask Marinette for help which she was too happy to do giving alya all the information she has on Adrien a key note that alya held on to was that his mother is currently missing and hadn’t been seen in over a year. Alya hearing this decided to look into what she found was shocking as in shocking I mean she couldn’t find any information on his mother only that she went missing after looking into and also talking with the police (after making up a good excuse) learn that a search party was never made for Adrien mother.. after looking into it more she trying to figure out why. Why wasn’t there a search party? She went to Marinette and asked and she told her while she was out (stalking) Adrien she overheard a conversation from Nathalie she was talking to someone and heard that his mother hadn’t been seen in a long while alya finding this suspicious looked into this more.

Then we follow Felix who moved into Paris to look for his missing aunt his mother was falling apart and at a bad timing his father had died leaving them both alone Felix determined to help his mother grief went to Paris to bring his aunt back to her. Which means he’ll be staying with his odd cousin Adrien who he had a… not so close relationship with even though the relationship isn’t close he still cares for his cousin greatly. After Nathalie picked him up and took him to the agreste mansion he noticed something in his cousin room that the photo of his aunt wasn’t there but was replace by a girl when Felix asked his cousin about her Adrien told him that was his girlfriend Lila Felix nodded not paying anymore attention to it. Felix decided to go out and ask questions about his aunt that was when he meet alya who was planning on breaking into the mansion (they meet at a coffee shop and she was planning this out loud) after a hour of talking Felix learns so key details from alya one a missing person case was never made for his aunt two his cousin had been acting off seeing hearing this Felix decided to work with alya who accepted with open arms both working together to find out the truth behind his aunt disappearance and his cousin odd behavior. But unknowing to them someone overheard this conversation and quickly told Adrien (kagami told him).

I think this ship is neat! There's a lot of interesting things you can do with themes of lying and telling the truth, with Félix pretending to be someone else a lot and Alya being someone who's determined to get down to the truth as a reporter.

Do we HAVE a name for the Felix/Alya ship and is it Felya? Is there anyone who even ships it? I have a score to settle with @sunfoxfic about whether it even makes sense (and what the exact conditions are and why) but we are the only two ppl I know of who have talked about this at length. A/N: Brief backstory for my warlock

They knew, the instant they laid eyes on her. An Awoken woman wandering into the Reef, gazing about aimlessly with eyes that burnt bright as a sun, but looked so utterly lost. Confused. Only half-listening to the Ghost floating above her shoulder.

The guards whisked her away, through polished corridors and puzzled glances, into a plain room with a table and chairs, and a sofa by a tinted window. It was at the window she waited, fingertip dully stinging where they’d pricked her for a blood sample. And it was hours before she was visited - by two guards, and a group of strangers.

The strangers regarded her with pain, grief, disbelief. Even resentment, but she doubted it was directed at her, when she was given brief hugs - silent, but with the affection of one’s family. ‘We are family,’ said one woman. ‘But you...perhaps no longer.’

She cocked her head, but didn’t ask questions - they seemed disinclined to give answers. She nodded in farewell when the strangers left, and she was left to stay in her room for another handful of hours.

When the door swung open once more, another stranger walked through - accompanied by his own Ghost. ‘Follow me,’ he said. ‘And you shall find your destiny.’

She was dubious, but followed him nonetheless. Her Ghost seemed to trust this stranger, and for the first time sounded happy since he’d found her on a lonely planet far from the Reef, then spent the entire journey to the Reef begging her to return to the ‘Traveler’ on Earth. He’d won out, in the end.

When they boarded the Guardian’s ship, her guide handed her a datapad that contained an empty dossier, which she would fill over the years, and provided her a single, vital piece of information then.

It was that particular tone of voice he had, too neutral not to be condescending. Alya didn’t say anything back, waiting for him to look up from the report. 

When he didn’t, she walked over and slid it across the conference table, out of reach. Felix raised his eyes at her and an eyebrow besides.

“What,” she said, letting no emotion seep into her voice, “does that mean?”

He sighed, leaning back into his chair. “Look, I understand that this is important to you, but if you actually care, you’ll stop and think about what you’re doing. There’s no way they’ll buy whatever half-baked story you offer them about journalistic credentials and public interest and whatnot – they’ll kick you straight out, and might go ahead and add some less than helpful things to your friend’s file just because you’ve annoyed them.” 

Alya took a breath, then another, and when at last she was sure she wouldn’t grind her teeth out in frustration, she said, “And what would you suggest?”

Felix smiled at her. It wasn’t pleasant; a smirk as any he had, but the intent wasn’t aimed at her. It was sharp and a bit conspiratorial, and she had this feeling of immense gravity, of having fallen into the orbit of a black hole.

“I would suggest,” he said, standing up and reaching for his coat, “that you walk with me downstairs as I make some phone calls.”
