@sumocyco finally got on the whole “actors and musicians stream” trend that’s been going on because of quarantine, and did what they called a “social hour” yesterday afternoon. It was an hour long @youtube stream where Skye Sweetnam and Matt Drake (and Koma The Dog) discussed future plans, answered questions, and played brief snippets of songs they have been working on. There were around 250 of us watching, so I only got one question answered, but one is better than none; and Sever saying my name is always music to my ears. They were talking about making this a bi-weekly occurrence, maybe doing it through Zoom next time, so that they can see us. Perhaps use Zoom to play a Sumo Cyco trivia game, which I am all for. Also something I am all for? A Sumo Cyco fan vacation on a boat or an island somewhere like MD13 was talking about. Yes, I would like to go on vacation with Skye Sweetnam. ... What’s that? It would involve the whole band as in the four of them? ... What’s that? Other fans would be there too? ... What’s that? I am dragging this bit out too long? Oh okay.
