I love that someone else calls their cat’s food “crunchies”–I don’t feel so alone in that anymore.

I must admit, I did think it was only my family who called it that too!

(He’s waiting for me to get him a fresh packet of wet food, because he only eats the crunchies if he’s got nothing else. Aaaand he’s started a picket line.)

@femshepfit realistically, it was like 50 out of 800+ responses that were rude or shitty, but of course the bad are always the ones that stick out the most. i used to genuinely love working in a library and helping people out, and now i can barely smile at patrons. this job has completely destroyed my capacity for empathy and it fucking sucks because i always thought i'd return to social work one day.
