Hello all and welcome to Monthly Challenge 2! Again, these are totally separate to the big bang, so you don't have to have signed up for that to participate in these. Everyone is welcome :)

Prompt: the places on our maps

How it works:

1k fic/writing OR 1 piece of art (which could be either a drawing, podfic, graphic or fanmix) based on the prompt

Post completed works by midnight March 31st according to your timezone

The round up post will be posted about a week later on April 7th.

All Fandoms allowed, just so long as the main ship is femslash - see FAQ below or send an ask if you need anything clarified. :)

Propaganda to convince you to join the femslash big bang

sign ups are closing in a couple days (Feb 28th), so here's some reasons why you should come join the challenge:

We're a totally multi-fandom event! No more feeling left out bc you realised nobody is doing big bangs for your niche fandom. Write about that blorbo!!

Like Femslash February but want more excuses to write femslash? well, here it is. The vibes do not have to stop.

Original works also allowed!! Please tell me about your OCs.

No writer/author pairings required - we're doing things a little differently here, so artists and writers can sign up and create their own works. no worrying about finding a match - YOU can create what you want.

We have a discord now! Everyone is super chill and wonderful, and you can connect with fellow fans or even spread your own propaganda about your niche ship/fandom and drag someone else into it with you.

We also have monthly challenges for people who want a prompt and/or short-term commitments.

just a reminder this Femslash February we are still open for sign ups for the big bang here until the 28th AND we've also got a monthly challenge active for Feb if you've got time to participate between prompts🪻✨

As the big bang might be a little big for some, we've also got some additional monthly challenges too! These will running from February to November this year.

Info:

1k fic/writing OR 1 piece of art (which could be either a drawing, podfic, graphic or fanmix)

Each month will have a new prompt to base your piece on.

Prompts released on the 1st of every month, challenge ends on the last day of the month.

Posting at the end of the month, with a week later a masterpost for the month will be collected.

Sign Up/Participation Info:

Expression of interest forms will be released with the prompts just to gauge interest for the month's challenge.

Follow the #ffbb2025 tag or this blog to keep up to date on info.

When each challenge is over, we'll release a post here to confirm everyone's completion so we can organise the fics for the master post.
