Cute little detail that Nicholas and his friend both do that double peace sign thing
I love that Nicholas isn’t ashamed of his background at all. Like, he’s so excited to show Seiji the place he grew up in
Even having trained at King’s row and the Halverton(?) camp salles he still thinks the place he originally learned to fence is awesome.
Attending a rich boarding school in a sport like fencing (not cheap), Nick gets wealth and whatnot shoved in his face a lot. But that doesn’t seem to affect him
I feel like it’s a common trope where someone who comes from poverty is surrounded by wealthy people, and they’re kinda embarrassed about where they come from? Which. Understandable, people are like that in real life. But it’s nice to see otherwise

every time i see barbed wire written as “bobwire” i have to physically restrain myself from pointing out the more correct of the terminology
bobwire is only accepted because its such a common mistake, but that does not mean its not still wrong
Old photo of a warning sign (as required by federal law) defining the boundaries of the lands granted to the Flathead vampire clans of Montana by Theodore Roosevelt to end the decades long race war between human ranchers and the blood clans.
FUN FACT: Baby Gruenwald claims to have friends who are vampires, but if you ask him to name some he will fumble around for names and eventually say, “Well, there’s Vlad,” and then change the subject.
