The large Head was meant to be seen from a lower position. Source photos odd/misleading, feel strange... [links bellow]

Here the rare eyes (inlays into alabaster w worn metal eyelashes) were “molded” based on pupil shape and position). Et voilà, a digital beauty!

The Asclepieon (healing temple of god Asclepius) was first discovered in 1958 and between 2007 and 2014. Inside there is an inscribed pedestal on which two statues stood – Asclepius and Hygeia. Asclepius was seated, three times the size of normal. His daughter, Hygeia, was standing upright beside him at twice normal size!
