The temple of Zeus in ancient Nemea was built in the 4th BC. century in the place of an archaic temple. Its foundation is about 44.5 meters long and about 22 meters wide. The temple was supported by 32 limestone Doric columns, each around 10 meters high. Three of these original columns remain standing today.

anyway here’s some of my ocs who are all from the same world
(ignore the half finished ness of the character sheet u get the point)
this is my boy thaddeus. he’s the first ever prince by inheritance of his homeland, isathica. i’ll post how the leadership of isathica works later, but just understand this is completely abnormal. he’s chaotic evil, and acts entirely out of his own desires. he has the power of pyrokinesis and hivemind, in which he controls a large amount of people all with the same command. while using hivemind, he can’t speak or move, so his bodyguard, Georgia, has to watch over him. thaddeus being bored is NEVER a good thing. a town will be burned down. it makes him good for war, but as a prince he causes nothing but ruin. he’s currently being hunted down by the duke of Avis, Corinthia. in his free time at the palace, thaddeus likes to hit on georgia and make puppets. he’s has a lot more lore but i don’t wanna write it rn

the tall one with his hair back is Georgia. he and his mother came from Estanoa, as the war between Avis and Estanoa destroyed their home. they had stayed in Estanoa in case Georgias father was alive and made it out of war, but when they lost their home, they had to move. they came to Isathica, and Georgia’s mother became a chef in the kitchen of the Isathican palace. Georgia was originally going to join her, but Thaddeus wanted someone else to talk to other than aceus, so he got Georgia assigned as his personal guard. Estanoa had been training the lower class kids for war, so Georgia already had the fighting experience. Georgia spends his days watching over Thaddeus and making sure he stays in line, and sighing at his terrible attempts to hit on him. In his free time, he likes playing the thummar, an Estanonian instrument that’s like some odd mix of a guitar and a saxophone
finally, we have Corinthia. he’s the duke of Avis, the country of the crows and vultures. a prophecy 2047 years ago said that a duke with control over the force of life would be born and change Avis forever. Corin is the duke of the prophecy, and he’s determined to live up to it. everything he does is for his country, whether it’s waging war on the Estanonians, or fighting Thaddeus himself. He has the ability to alter life span, but only uses it to shrink other lives, not extend. little does he know, life energy cannot be made or destroyed, so every time he shrinks someone’s lifespan, he adds those years to his own life.
I will post about the politics of their world soon, and i may even make a map and religion for their world. sorry for the crazy amount of yapping lol i really like my guys
