Feral Future // October 2015 @ Cheer Up Charlies, Austin

I went to see a Cindy Sherman exhibit while in Berlin. I felt I should, but I don’t know why I did. I didn’t get anything from her pictures, and I don’t know if some people’s art can really ride through generations as well as others or maybe speak to ME through generations. I know art is all about showboating in some form or fashion, but today with everyone taking selfies seeing variations of one person in different clothes didn’t speak to me. 

I left to eat sausages and drink a beer.

p.s. (This is off subject, but I had jury duty Tuesday. After being dismissed, I went to get some coffee, and my brain told me I knew the face who was behind the counter. I was jet lagged and couldn’t place an order while trying to go through my index for facial recognition, so the order was, “You...coffee me...please...you..in a band? ME...croissant. YOU IN FERAL FUTURE?!” It turned out to be the bassist from Feral Future, and I immediately felt like an idiot and blushed. Anyway, hello, Liz, who probably isn’t on Tumblr, I am the idiot who did your tour poster.)
