I’ve had this idea for a indie video game that I’m a little scared to share.

Basically, it’s called Feralfolk and it’s about a group of escaped slaves, orphans, or other children/teenagers in 15th century Finland who decide to form an otherkin society, and you’re one of them. You get to choose your appearance, mask, and name, and you basically have to build up a village with your buddies while prioritising your and their needs.

I’ve pictured it in the style of Cattails and Stardew Valley, and also inspired by Manor Lords and Yaelokre as well.

If someone were to actually make this into an indie game, let me know if I can help with anything. Please note I have no coding skills, so I can help with backgrounds and loading screens, or dialogue.

I wasn't able to say it under the community post in small artist, but I had to tell you that I absolutely love your idea for a video game! (the otherkin game idea). I don't think it's as inappropriate or as crazy as an idea (not sure if that's why your scared). If you do ever make it or plan to, please tell me because I'd love to play it someday <3

Throughout many seasons of sowing and reaping, we have crafted our wares from the abundance the land has provided us, and now wish to offer our creations to our feral kinsfolk and magical practitioners alike.

As the seasons wax and wane, our creations mirror the transitional nature of the land, and thus our crafts are both liminal and limited. As the wheel turns, forthcoming projects and wares will be announced and made available.
