Moonpaw headcannon: Ivypool and Fernsong are the grandparents of all time. Like they're defending her even when she's done something bad. In my head, Moonkit snuck out of camp or onto the highledge or something, and Ivypool's banned from the discussion of punishment because she keeps saying she deserves a pass. I also just think she was beloved by Brightheart, Cloudtail, and Whitewing, but not to that degree. I'm projecting my adoration of Moonpaw onto all of her kin, plus it makes it hurt more when she starts getting treated differently.
