@fallenclan inspired me to finally do something with clangen, which i've been wanting to do for ages, so here's a lil blog to document the adventures of plumclan!

Story:
Ferretrunner had no tragedy that set him on his path.
He had a good kithood, and he faced no hardships. Perhaps that is why he was so ruthless. Ferretrunner wanted to be leader. He was, at first, steadily climbing the ranks in his Clan. There was nothing significant about him other than his arrogance and revulsion toward anyone who ‘opposed’ him.
He was furious when he wasn’t chosen to be deputy, openly chastising the choice in front of his peers.
His charismatic nature lent itself in helping him convince his Clanmates that the murders were done by some rogue. And it worked. All went well until his two friends approached him to ask him to be a donor for their kits. Of course he agreed.
It would improve his reputation in the Clan, after all. He acted overjoyed for the two mollies, making sure that the pregnancy went well. And all went well, at first.
One night, he was visited by a Starclan cat.
"The territory will be bathed in blood when the faded one ascends. Crush the light of the son born with death." He didn't know what that meant until he woke up to a warrior coming to get him. Hollyfallow was kitting! At first, and for the first time in a while, he was genuinely ecstatic. Until he saw the only surviving kit.
It clicked. This kit would be the undoing of all his hard work. The first thing he did as leader was to make Fadingkit his apprentice. He yelled at and beat the young kit. He would make sure that Fadingpaw would never get the chance to ruin everything he’d worked so hard to achieve. But all that got him was a stabbing pain in his chest and an eternal afterlife of trying to hide from his new ‘Clanmates.’

Fanart for @warriorsfireandwater ‘s Riverclan Fireheart AU! It’s fantastic, I absolutely recommend it. I know this a bit OOC for Ferretstar (Tallstar), but this is based on a scene from Brooklyn-99 (pictured below) that I thought would be hilarious with these characters. Thanks for the amazing story, it is all I wish the original series could’ve been! Can’t wait for future chapters!
