Wigger’s diagram and PV loops haunt my dreams. Heart murmurs and cardiac embryology wrecked me this week. The quiz this morning was tough and I’m expecting like a 70-75% grade... The case discussion (pulmonic stenosis in a pediatric patient) was also challenging but it least it seems like most of my group is just as lost as me lol.
I went into town and got a latte and an apple fritter after class. The caffeine + sugar overload has revived me. I’m going to work on understanding right atrial pressure waveform, murmur sounds, and fetal circulation. Also planning to take a break from medical learning today: gonna clean my apartment, spend some time outside, and practice piano and Russian.
Happy Friday! :)
Day 11: Zoomester Studyblr Challenge:
What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t got the chance to do so?
SO MANY THINGS. I really want to travel more, but the pandemic and my tiny medical student budget make that impossible right now.
Some of my bucket list items:
the Camino Santiago
a literary tour of Russia
Carnevale in Venice
visiting Antarctica
