mary: my best friend’s mom is named mary and I fucking adore her. in like 2nd or 3rd grade my friend was crying ‘cause she was grounded or something and she was like “my mom said I might have to give your birthday present back or she’s going to take it away for awhile” and I was like “hannah, how come it’s MY gifts to you that are always being taken away?” and hannah sniffled and said “'cause you’re the only one who gets me good ones” not exactly related to mary directly but this was the first story to pop in my head. she’s such a great woman

sydney: I think…I THINK a girl I went to school with had a little sister named sydney.
