I've read in Wiki about OG7 producer, Sakaguchi. Apparently he suggested Aerith's death to express how he felt when his mother passed away. Also, it's been mentioned several times in AC and its profile that Aerith has this 'maternal' feel. Then Cloud's JP va literally said Aerith sounds like a mother. What do you think?

If that's what they say, then that's what it is.

I mean, they literally had Cloud call her mother.
