Wanna write like I do?

Friends!  Many of you have kindly and generously commented on my writing skills.  I am so thankful!  I’ve decided it’s time to share what I know and how I became the writer that I am.

After some back and forth and a lot of prep and planning, I have launched a Patreon with daily writing lessons and prompts that I have learned, developed and used over the last few decades to make my writing what it is.  The great thing is that you do not need to be a writer to get started with me.  If you’ve never written a day in your life, you will be able to participate and gain something out of every single exercise.  

There are a few each day, some photos of my workspace, and I use my own examples to get you started, so there is a look into my process and mind as well.

Even if you don’t want to be a writer, fanfiction or otherwise, you’ll get a great insight into the way my brain works, how I have trained my talents over the years, and how with some time, guidance and practice, your writing can improve right away.  And some days, there are some slightly embarrassing looks at my writing from the past, both fiction and my journals (yikes).

My fanfiction will always be free and accessible.  The patreon is all of my own content of lessons, advice, tips and methods that I use to do what I do.  If this vibe is not for you, or money is tight, or you just don't care about this part, all legit, you won’t miss out on any of my fics.

Fanfiction has been a large part of my writing development through the years, which is why I named my Patreon ‘Fanfiction Builds Character.’  Some of the lessons and prompts are specific to fanfiction, but just abut all of them translate to creative writing of any kind!  

I appreciate each and every one of you, and you are a delight to create for.  I’d love to help you start or keep creating in return.
