Wren: Did you hear the news?
Levi: It’s hard not to-.. what did you do?
Wren: Nothing in the end, boring huh?
Levi: I guess.
Wren: Looks like we didn’t need to meddle after all.
[Levi nodded unenthusiastically, staring off into the distance as his eyes glazed over]
Wren: What’s up?
Levi: I shouldn’t have bothered.
Wren: Ahh, so you are capable of remorse.
Levi: Ha-Ha.
Wren: That’s it..?
Levi: [sighs] Some of us have exams to prep for.
Wren: Oh, boo-fucking-hoo.
Levi: They’re pretty important-.. besides, I’m too tired to keep poking around in other people’s business, I’m gonna stay in my own lane from now on.
Wren: We’ll see how long that lasts.
Levi: I mean it.
Wren: What about Alex n’ Robin?
Levi: Did you have a plan?
Wren: Kinda.. but I dunno, maybe we should just leave ‘em to it. If they’re soulmates then they’ll figure it out themselves, won’t they?
Levi: Don’t take the piss as if you don’t believe the same.
Wren: Psh, whatever.
[Stifling a yawn, Levi slumped onto his keyboard; he didn’t have enough energy for a debate]
Wren: You know you’ll do fine-.. in your exams, I mean.
[Levi offered naught but a grunt; whether in agreement, or dismissal, Wren wasn’t sure]
Wren: Well, enjoy your nap…
Levi: Wait, you got any smokes?
Wren: Duh.
