FFVII really is for the freaks and the queers like if i told you there was a shadow the hedgehog-esque edgy shooter game staring a guy who's like half vampire half werewolf with a emo twink in a straight jacket with a bone gag who's homoerotically incestuously obsessed with his older brother and begs for them to merge into one being to never be separated again, said older brother who dedicates the entire game to becoming an "omega" you'd be like man, sounds like a weird fetish game, ykinmk but then when i say im talking about Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus society goes willddddd

Vincent Valentine’s Headcanons

Vincent stayed 30 years sleeping, but in fact he was coming to terms with Chaos inside his head. The ex-Turk had to settle some boundaries to what Chaos were able to access in his mind and what the demon could do with that knowledge.

Vincent often talks to himself, it’s a habit he picked through the years he was self isolated. People might think he’s talking alone or going crazy, but he’s actually talking with Chaos (they sometimes have very heated arguments).

All of Valentine’s limit breaks are sentient, but only Chaos divides his mind – alongside his body – all the time. The other three are more like uncontrollable and violent beasts with very little rationality and living dormant inside him.

Surprisingly, Galian Beast, Hellmasker and even Death Gigas are very obedient. Whatever Vincent decides *before* he transforms, it will be kept as an order by them. So, if Valentine’s duty is to defend or to kill someone, all the 3 limit breaks will do exactly that.

Chaos it’s not only a demon, he’s capable of learn and grow, so he uses his time to known humanity and to comprehend the lives he’ll end someday. He may, or may not, become attached to some humans in the process.

Vincent learned, from all this time, that his body is still his to use, but some of his changes has to be addressed first between all of his “occupants” (specially Chaos).

He tried to cut his hair once, and was a terrible idea. Chaos gone havoc on his mind, screaming and tormenting every memory and function from his brain till his head was exploding. The pain was unbearable for at least a week (when he decided to make amends with the sentient being).

When in home – because Vincent has a house on the outskirts of Kalm – he doesn’t bother to change much of his attire. He simply forgoes the cape and jacket most of the time.

Through the years, Vincent realized that some of his attitudes makes his limit breaks to be more satisfied and quiet. Examples: Death Gigas and Hellmasker get quieter when he’s hunting frequently and when he eats more meat – even if he’s not hungry. Galian Beast is very satisfied with less clothes around his body, so is usually no shoes and loose slacks when the monster is restless.

Chaos is a completely different personality and he speaks, so when he wants something he tells it outright.
