UTMV FGoD relationship lore in my opinion:

1. Nightmare gang + Error + Fresh: they are basically one family disguised as a gang, Nightmare is the dad while Error is the mom, and no they're not in a relationship, Fresh meanwhile is that weird cousin that often crashed on your couch and raided your fridge but you love him anyways, the rest of the gang is in siblings relationship with Killer as the 'oldest son' and Cross as the youngest.

2. The emotion twins: after eons of conflict they finally made up after one day Dream almost crashed in the middle of battle field because of exhaustion, Nightmare being the emotionally stunted protective older he is essentially kidnapped Dream so he can recover in his mansion without interrupted, and thus both of them finally have the time to talk about their past and made up, now Dream is becoming that uncle who liked to show up unannounced to hang out with his nephews.

3. Ink & Error: yeah that's just siblings rivalry on steroids (if said steroids are Fate's bitching voice), they didn't really hate each other, it's one of those scenarios where your sibling destroy your drawing because you put it on his side of the room after you run out of place to put it on your side, like that but on multiverse level and the drawing is an AU and unfortunately your parent is that bitch name Fate.

4. Geno relationship with Error & Fresh: he's that one tired older bro whose done with his siblings shenanigans, he's the responsible uncle in this family, his family also begrudgingly accepted Reaper as their brother in law, even though they questioned their brother choice in partner as long as Geno is happy, they still gives stink eye lights to the emo caffeine addicted bird tho, how dare he takes Geno from them

5. The Star Sanses: yeah this is that one friend group where 'ride or die' is their motto, while each of them have other relationship outside of this group the three of them is extremely close with each other that people often mistaken them as poly group, Blue is the mom friend, since he's the only 'normal' mortal between the three of them he will be the most often to reminded Dream & Ink to take care of themselves, Dream is the kind one between them, yes his personality is usually bright and welcoming, but the moment someone talk bad about his brother, family, or friend he will be a menace, Ink is that friend people considered as the comedic relief of the group, well due to his goldfish memory he didn't have the best attention span, but don't think he's stupid because of it, he is the God of Creation after all, and some of the monster who can went toe to toe with Error to a standstill

Error was hated across the multiverse. That was a simple fact. It was hard to accept, but he would be worse off if he denied it. He thought he accepted it enough. Even though dread filled him every time he thought of the loop of stagnation he was stuck in. He could just ignore it. At least he had people by his side, right? Unfortunately, that wasn't enough. It never really is enough. One day, in a messy, incomplete sketch of a universe, Error is ambushed. An ambush on a scale bigger than any other battles he has dealt with. How can you survive, when face to face with the fact that all these people hate you? Enough to bait you, trap you, and try to kill you? Retelling of that one time FGOD!Error fell into the Void, in the context @ask-fgod . It seems impossible, right?

What is cyborg error's relationship with nightmare??

For a long time Nightmare (and by extension the Gang) also believed Error to be fully artificial, but eventually Nightmare realised he was an actual person. I haven’t fully fleshed out how, but it’s probably related to Error’s (very muted) emotions.

Nightmare finds Error incredibly interesting and wants to learn more about him, however due to Error’s constant sedation and completely fucked sense of self he can’t exactly just ask him. So he and his boys have ended up trying to get him out of his situation and teach him how to be a person - they know he wasn’t behind what has been done to him, but they don’t know the culprit is a deity.

This attempt at “reeducation” was initially started purely to sate Nightmare’s need to know absolutely everything, but ended up morphing into genuine care over time. Error’s… somewhat receptive. He mostly still doesn’t get it.

You know, sometimes I get normal sleep… and sometimes I’m kept up at night, scrolling through my old wattpad account from 4 years ago, trying desperately to find that one Fgod! Error au where Geno was sent along with Error (idk if the gang, swap, or reaper were involved) into the Naj universe… where they needed new names… and geno renamed himself “Genocide Holocaust” completely seriously. It keeps me up at night. I have to find it so I know I’m not crazy and that actually happened. I think error adopted kids and ran a string store??? I don’t know. 😭 All the other characters had normal names, mind you.

(for context this is my first utmv fic and an fgod fic and it’s actually horrible but im still emotionally attached)

at least i’m finally almost done with this god forsaken chapter! (every time i say that it adds another month but i think im being serious this time!) nobody wants this thing done more than me omg it’s been in writing hell for a year and a half but only has 8k words to show for it
