This blank “canvas” is soon to be a LLAMA. That’s right, a llama, not an alpaca. Hold onto your butts, people. I’ve been experimenting the past few pieces with different mats for my wet felting process. Up until recently, I’d used the material for window screens. But that broke down pretty quickly and the edges would snag the wool and became quite the hindrance to my process. 🙄 Next, I started using drawer liners, but those created fuzzier felts than I prefer. I think I’ve found my solution. Drawer liner exterior and bubble wrap interior.
