Well, it only took me about six tries, but I finally finished my free-handed hat I'm calling Mint Blizzard. It looks pretty lumpy in this photo, but it's currently on the blocking mat and looking much better, so I can't wait for it to be dry! And thankfully I didn't run out of cold weather to wear it in, either! With more snow in this week's forecast I'll get to wear it out at least a couple more times before wearing 100% wool on my head is too much. 🤣 This hat is incredibly warm, and the Iowa temperatures sometimes hovering just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit make this a perfect Saturday morning hat. I used #LimaYarn superwash wool from #FibraNatura, which is an extra bulky fiber that works up quickly. I haven't knit with bulky yarn n a couple of years, but this yarn re-inspired me to pick up more, and in my next couple of uploads you will see the results of that, because I have three new Inca Tweed balls in my stash.
