i just have to make an appreciation post about will getting white girl wasted every now and then. it's such a hit or miss with drunk guys, especially with hockey players who are supposedly the peak of masculinity: a lot of aggressive macho posturing or silent brooding and staring into the distance and refusing water lmao. but in all the clips and pics of will being drunk, he's always so bright and rosy and really, really giggly. like he can't stop smiling. then he drapes himself over men's laps and stands on tables and probably shows off his dance moves, considering how many guys on the team have had something to say about his "nice hips". and i bet that he's the guy grabbing everyone's shoulders, eyes blown wide, insisting that this is his song actually, no seriously listen listen listen—before immediately forgetting the point and bursting out laughing again. and then he gets to mack and he grabs his head with both hands and says something insane like, "if you were a girl i'd wanna fuck you so bad," and mack just blinks at him, processing none of it, while will's thumbs dig into his jaw. then will's eyes widen and he goes, "sorry—i'm so drunk," before he turns on his heel and goes back to his one-man dance floor.

His left hand caught his attention. It always did.

He watched, detached, at the way his thumb moved to rub against his ring finger. It was disgustingly unconscious, automatic — like scratching a phantom itch. Three years and he still couldn't break the habit. His therapist had called it a "self-soothing mechanism." His neurologist said it was probably connected to the trauma-induced amnesia.

Adrien called it fucking annoying.

The tanoy crackled into action, looping a pre-recorded announcement. “Please remain seated. SOLDIERs will begin to disembark carriages one by one. You will be searched upon disembarkation. Please comply.”

You try to focus on your book - keep your head down low, don’t draw attention to yourself.

It’s hard, however, to ignore the building whispers from further down the carriage. You raise your head a little to see what the hubbub was about - a tall, long silver-haired man, his lean, muscular figure clad in leather, a thin long sword across his back.

General Sephiroth is stood at the end of the carriage, bright eyes scanning the occupants of the seats intently, looking for something… or someone.

You move your gaze back to the page, though the words are not going in at all, re-reading the same sentence over and over.

There was no way Sephiroth was looking for you.

Besides, he wouldn’t know who you were anyway...

..right?

Your heart begins to thud loudly, almost in sync to the now approaching footsteps. A shadow is cast over your page and, without a word, a gloved hand lightly grasps your chin and tilts your head up to meet his gaze.

The famed general towers over you and as your eyes meet, he releases his grip on your chin.

“Ms Shinra,” he greets, and goosebumps prickle across your skin.

You close your book over and nod, slightly. “General Sephiroth.”

“Come.” He offers his hand to help you from your seat. “The President is… concerned.”

Guess what fics these are. Susceptible to change, but these are pretty solid. And yes, I've changed over to Ellipsus after Google Docs proceeded to eat ALL OF MY FICS aside from The Red Giant, Estellar, and the first 'The Heavenly Body' Case File in Question. Everything else is fucking gone and it still hurts to think about ;-;. I never found a way to recover anything and I'm trying my best to keep writing.

I've done the shadow and things went so smoothly, and now I am waiting like a dog for the manager to hire me pleeeeease i desire work and, most of all, payment including some free services for thy caaaaattssssss I AM BEGGINGGGG ;A;

here is a small excerpt/some crumbs from my new fic johnshi nation we are so back 🙏🏽 (rated T so far for language)

This time, Johnny's pause is from complete shock. His eyes widen, and they flick across Kenshi's face. They land right on a pair of eyes, deep brown and narrow. They're fierce, tense and angry, but Johnny doesn't really give a shit about that because Kenshi has eyes. He's looking at him.

Kenshi presses his blade closer, by just a hair, but it's enough to make Johnny lift his chin to avoid risking a permanent choker necklace.

"How do you know my name?" He hisses. Johnny lets the hurt briefly flash across his face before he schools it into something a bit more cocky.

"Is this your idea of foreplay? Gotta hand it to you Ken, you really know how to show a gal a good time." Kenshi growls at that, and Johnny would be lying if he said it wasn't the tiniest bit sexy. He would enjoy it a lot more if there was less of the whole life threatening thing happening. You win some, you lose some, I guess.

Kenshi's voice is low when he speaks again, words hardened with a steely determination. "I'm here for Sento."
